Rilsan® is a unique synthetic thermoplastic polyamide 11 powder, which was one of the first powders to be developed for metal coating more than 35 years ago. Since then its applications have diversified continually all over the world and today Rilsan® is known as one of the most versatile coatings in the market.
Rilsan® coatings may be applied to all metal components provided it is possible to raise them to the necessary coating temperature without causing any change in the metal itself or distortion to the components.

Rilsan’s Properties:
· Excellent resistance to corrosion
· Good chemical resistance
· Good impact resistance
· Resistance to wear and abrasion
· Good flexibility
· Electrical insulation
· Low humidity recovery
· Aesthetic surface finish
· Compatibility with food products
· Coating thickness from 200 to 800 microns
· Resistance to dry heat 95oC
· Smooth surface, warm to the touch
· Does not promote or support bacterial growth.

Because of excellent resistance to textile chemicals, Rilsan® prevents the generation of the corrosion on the cylinders. Therefore, it prevents to go through corrosion to the fabric that is wrapped on the cylinder. Rilsan® can not be scratched very easily because of its toughness property ( 80 Shore D ).

Rilsan® coating that applied to refrigerator pieces prevents to get dirty monoblok body because of aluminum oxidation.

Rilsan® can be processed into coatings to offer the water industry effective solutions increasing the lifespan of installations whilst preserving the quality of water. Rilsan® provides unique benefits in terms of anticorrosion protection and water conservation.

Rilsan® imparts to components of all shapers (pipes, flanges, cross-joints, elbow joints, reverse elbow-joints, breeching-pieces, etc.), whether new or renovated, outstanding protection against corrosion. Steel, cast iron and aluminum are protected from toughest attacks.

Rilsan® features outstanding resistance to:
· Water, effluents, sea water;
· Sea mist;
· Cathodic parting;
· Hydrocarbons, solvents, and a large number of chemicals.

The wide variety of colors available meets the vast majority of requirements from the various industrial sectors.
